Construction Safety

Safety Training Excellence

Safety is fundamental to every Basin project. Our comprehensive construction safety program prepares employees to work confidently across civil construction, marine construction, and marine logistics projects through ongoing education, hands-on training, and a culture of accountability.

Every employee receives the training, certifications, and resources needed to recognize hazards, follow established safety procedures, and safely perform work in demanding field environments. By investing in workforce development, Basin helps protect our employees, clients, subcontractors, and the communities where we work.

We are a recipient of Louisiana Workforce Development’s IWTP Grant and ABC’s STEP Safety Award. reflecting our ongoing investment in workforce training and continuous safety improvement.

Building a Culture of Safety

Safety extends beyond compliance. At Basin, it is integrated into every phase of project planning, mobilization, execution, and closeout.

Our teams begin every project with thorough planning, hazard identification, and clear communication to ensure work is performed safely from day one. Daily job hazard analyses, ongoing field observations, toolbox talks, and continuous employee engagement help maintain a proactive safety culture throughout every project.

Whether working on land or over water, our commitment remains the same: every employee returns home safely at the end of each day.
